Are you looking to improve your book-a-call funnel conversion?
In this article, we’ll share some tips and tricks to help you get more calls booked and increase your conversion rates.
More specifically, how many calls booked versus landing page views?
As a Facebook advertising expert, this is a common question that I get asked.
The truth is, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer as it depends on the industry you’re in. However, I can share with you some baselines to help you gauge the effectiveness of your funnel.
The Importance of Improving Your Book-a-Call Funnel Conversion
To improve book-a-call funnel conversion, it’s important to focus on the different conversion levers that can affect your overall numbers.
By improving your opt-in rate, CTA button click-through rate, and show rate for book-a-call, you can see a significant increase in your booked calls.
Additionally, using a simple calculator to tweak your numbers can help you optimize your funnel and achieve better results (I’ve included a book-a-call calendar that you can use further down in this post).
First, let’s look at the different conversion rates that we typically aim for in a book-a-call funnel:
- Opt-in rate to watch the video before booking the call: 25% – 30%
- Percentage of people who opt-in and show up for the presentation: 85%+
- Percentage of people who see the call-to-action (CTA) of the presentation: 30%+
- Percentage of people who click on the CTA button: 30%+
- Percentage of people who book a call vs. hit the CTA button: 30%
- Show rate for book a call: 50%+
Of course, these are rough numbers and not a hard and fast rule. The key is to constantly monitor and improve your conversion rates by pulling the right “conversion levers.”
Improve Your Book-a-Call Funnel Conversion Real-World Example
Now, let’s dive into some real-world numbers. Let’s say you’ve spent $400 on testing ads for book-a-call conversions. Let’s assume that the cost per landing page visit is $2. With these numbers, you can expect:
- 200 people to hit the landing page at $2 per landing page visit
- 60 people to opt-in (30% opt-in rate) at $6.67 per lead
- 51 people to show up for the presentation (85% show-up rate) at $7.84 to watch
- 15 people to see the CTA of the presentation (30% CTA view rate) at $26.67
- 5 people to click the CTA button (30% CTA click rate) at $80
- 1-2 people to book a call (30% book-a-call rate) at $200-$400
- 1 person to show up for the call (50% show rate) at $400
With these numbers, you’re looking at a conversion rate of 0.005% (1 person out of 200 that hit the landing page). However, there’s always room for improvement.
That’s why I created a simple calculator to show you how to slightly improve your numbers for a dramatic change in booked calls. You can access the calculator here (make a copy for yourself to edit and play with the numbers).
I also created an 8-minute video that shows you where the opportunities for improvement are. In the video, I’ll show you how to remove certain components of the funnel setup and what the conversions look like when changing it up.
In conclusion, a good benchmark for a book-a-call funnel conversion rate depends on the industry you’re in. However, you can use the baselines I’ve provided and constantly monitor and improve your conversion rates by pulling the right “conversion levers.”
Don’t be afraid to test and experiment to see what works best for your specific funnel setup.
